COIL COATING EXTRA
ALUCOMAX products are essentially sheets of aluminum painted and coated with a special polymer coating – Coil Coating (CCL) – that has been assigned a fire safety class of FR (non-flammable). The product is an AM-PVDF PLUS-COILCOATING EXTRA (CCLEX) high-quality alloy produced with the use of an original manufacturing technology.
PAINTING KNOW-HOW
During production, the technique of continuous painting of coil metal is used. This technique is a modern method of painting that stipulates the application of paint and/or lacquer coating with the use of automated flow lines.
PATENTED TREATMENT
During this process, the coil metal is subjected to a special patented treatment and subsequent paint application with the use of roller machines.
TECHNOLOGY
The process flow of painting of coil metal (coil coating) includes the following stages:

Surface preparation before painting
-
two-stage degreasing of the surfaces of sheets in special baths with the use of rotary brushes followed by two-stage rinsing with the use of clean water sprayed via nozzles;

passivation of the surfaces of sheets with a special chromating (chromate-based) solution followed by drying with the use of hot air.
Painting of sheets
-
application of primer (priming) with the use of rollers for the purpose of achieving adhesion;

drying of the primer in drying ovens (divided into zones with preset temperatures);

application of enamel with the use of painting rollers;
-
drying of the enamel in drying ovens (divided into zones with preset temperatures);
-
coiling of painted sheets.

INTERNATIONAL COLOUR AND SAMPLE POLICY
ALUCOMAX are sheets of painted aluminium with special polymeric coating Coil Coating (CCL), fire safety class - FR (nonflammable). The material is produced using an original technology, it is a high-quality alloy AM-PVDF PLUS-COILCOATING EXTRA (CCLEX).
Painting colors are made to order using the RAL color chart. However, it is impossible to have all RAL decors available.
Special aspect of production of Coil Coating (CCL) panel with PVDF polymeric coating of any manufacturer is that for producing each decor is it necessary to produce at least 1 (one) coil or 3 (three) tons of metal.
In order to satisfy the customers with small-sized samples in 2015 our company has developed a special mixed laboratory method for coating application with liquid roller and electrostatic CLPC method. It allows creating laboratory samples in specific decors based on RAL (Reichsausschuß für Lieferbedingungen und Gütesicherung) colour chart in small volumes which later will be produced using the final CCL technology with full decor conformance.
This know-how provides us with advantage compared to other manufacturers and allows the customer to promptly receive a sample of the desired decor with guarantee of further manufacturing of the main batch of material with specific approved decor.
Samples are made using the RAL Classic chart (213 colors). It is possible to obtain samples using NCS (Natural Colour System – 1950 colours) and PMS (Pantone Matching System).
Production of aluminium with decors based on RAL Design (1625 colours) and RAL Effect (420 matt shades for water-dispersion paints and 70 glossy shades for paints of metallic types) is possible only to order with 3 (three) tons minimum batch.
Sample ordering is available worldwide since the beginning of 2016 through official distributors and representative.
